About
What to expect
The exhibition shows paintings by Daniëlle van den Bos.
Her work brings realism, abstraction and mixed media together.
She combines structures of different materials and paints with spontaneous, rough brushstrokes.
Portraits and the human figure are central.
She works intuitively with thoughtful colour palettes and translates people shaped by events, experiences and meetings.
Warm colours (orange tints) and cold colours (blue-grey) are read as resistance and surrender.
