About
A documentary by Dries Verhoeven in which sex workers and adult-film performers imagine futures where desire is bound to technology, money and power.
Orgasmagoria (2026) is a documentary by Dries Verhoeven about sexual pleasure in a digital age. For the project he worked with sex workers active online, adult-film performers and people around them from different countries. On camera, the participants close their eyes and picture a future in which desire is tied to technology, money and power. The film takes the form of an ongoing stream of personal accounts, fables and dystopian visions. In a visual culture flooded with explicit images, imagination is given space again. The cast includes Anastasiya, Jamal Phoenix, Luisa Rodríguez, Lukresia, Malena Masuelli, Nica Roses, Oana Maria Zaharia and Violettareyes.
