About
A documentary following Tere Domine of Kalsada Coffee as she visits partner farms in Benguet and Bukidnon and works on ethical trade and sustainable farming.
Paul Barreto's documentary Ma'am Tere follows Tere Domine, known locally as Ma'am Tere, as she works with Kalsada Coffee. Domine is co-founder and country director of the company. The film accompanies the Kalsada Coffee team on visits to partner farms in Benguet and Bukidnon. It looks at the relationships between the team and the farms spread across the Philippines.
Domine is shown as an advocate for ethical trade and for community building through sustainable farming. The film presents provincial life and a grassroots industry that is growing in global popularity. It is Barreto's debut, and he also produced and edited it. Tere Domine appears as herself.
