Che Guevara: The Last Companions is a French documentary with animation. It looks at three guerrilla fighters who followed Che Guevara after the Cuban Revolution of 1959, when he tried to carry the uprising beyond Cuba. The film returns to Bolivia in 1967, after their final battle there, when the surviving fighters set out on a 2,400-kilometre journey across the country while pursued by thousands of soldiers. Sixty years later, Che's last surviving comrades recount the story. The cast includes Dariel Alarcón Ramírez, Harry "Pombo" Villegas, Leonardo Tamayo and Régis Debray, with Vincent Lindon as narrator.
