About

Six women move through Paris over one night, among them a filmmaker, a single mother, a former sex worker and a poet.

At Night takes place over a single night in Paris, where six women move through the city after dark. Among them are a filmmaker struggling to understand the film she is making, a Black single mother who refuses the categories imposed on her, a former sex worker reflecting on her past, and a poet who gives up trying for a child. Diocouda Diaoune plays Didi. The film is Beatrice Gibson's directorial debut and stars Diaoune, Alice Notley, Kátia Belo Cardoso, Sophie Robinson, Amy Gwatkin and Lily McMenamy. Dream, fiction and reality flow into one another.
