About
A grumpy novice clairvoyant raised in an orphanage travels to Side, where ghosts accompany her search for her long-lost mother.
Defne, played by Ezgi Çelik, grew up in an orphanage and is an irritable novice clairvoyant. She travels to the historic town of Side in Antalya in search of her long-lost mother. The one keepsake she has is a blurred photo of her young mother at an unidentified archaeological site in Turkey.
After an accident with a tear gas grenade, Defne wakes to find Hüseyin (Barış Gönenen), a cheerful radical-left ghost, at her side. She discovers that other ghosts exist too, including a Marxist revolutionary, a prostitute and an ancient priestess. The film notes that human ghosts can be as irritating after death as they were in life.
