About
Children's Concert Help, the Cake Is on Fire! is a cheerful, interactive performance at Schouwburg Venray on 31 October 2026, from 13:30 to 14:30.
What to expect
It is Dries the dragon's birthday, but celebrating is difficult because he cannot blow out the candles—dragons breathe fire.
In this cheerful and interactive performance, Dries looks for a solution.
Through a series of colourful encounters, he ends up at the harmony orchestra, where he learns to blow without breathing fire.
With music from Koninklijke Harmonie Euterpe Venray and narrator Sander Beens, the story comes to life on stage.
Children discover how music sounds, feels and can tell stories.
- Playful and accessible introduction to (wind) music
- For primary school pupils from Venray municipality
