Questions about carnival in Oeteldonk
Is there carnival on Thursday in Oeteldonk?
Not any more in the centre: the council agreed to end carnival Thursday, and bars serving alcohol only open at 18:00. The villages in the municipality are exempt. Whether this already applies to Thursday 4 February 2027 has not been confirmed in so many words.
What do I wear in Oeteldonk?
A blue boerenkiel covered in emblems, a red boerenzakdoek with the knot at the front, white mittens on a string, a farmer's cap and a red, white and yellow scarf (oeteldonk.org, Kleding en emblemen).
How do I get there?
Travel to ’s-Hertogenbosch station; the parade goes through the centre. It is very busy there on Monday.
