What to do in Amersfoort? Agenda today and this weekend

Walk past the Koppelpoort and along the Muurhuizen, then book a climb up the Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren: a tour starts every day at 14:00. The Mondriaanhuis is open from 10:00 to 17:00, Tuesday to Sunday.

Flint and FLUOR have shows and concerts in the evening, and De Lieve Vrouw shows films every day. The Mondriaanhuis and Kunsthal KAdE are open from Tuesday to Sunday, so both are open on Saturday and Sunday. Pitchers on the Groenmarkt has free live music, and the walk past the Koppelpoort costs nothing.

Museum Amersfoort, in three wall houses, tells the story of the city. Kunsthal KAdE shows contemporary art, and the Mondriaanhuis is the birth house of Piet Mondriaan.

DierenPark Amersfoort is the zoo, mostly outdoors. When it rains, Museum Amersfoort has a workshop for creative activities and De Lieve Vrouw and Pathé show films. Children under 5 cannot climb the tower.

The Mondriaanhuis and Kunsthal KAdE are open on Sundays, a tower tour starts at 14:00 and De Lieve Vrouw shows films every day. In the evening there is a jam session at Pitchers from 20:00, and some Sundays Observant has a morning concert with breakfast.

Pitchers on the Groenmarkt is open from noon on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, to 02:00 or 03:00, with free live music. FLUOR has pop concerts and dance parties, and Flint and De Lieve Vrouw have shows in the evening.

There are two. De Lieve Vrouw, opposite the tower, shows the newest arthouse films every day. Pathé Amersfoort on the Eemplein has eight halls and the three-screen ScreenX format.

The arrival is on Saturday 14 November 2026. The boat is due at the Eemhaven at 13:00, the ride through the centre starts at 15:00 and there is a meet and greet at 16:00 at Optiek Verkerk.

King's Day is on Tuesday 27 April 2027. In 2026 the kleedjesmarkt in the centre ran from 08:00 to 17:00, and the evening before there was a party on De Hof.
