The Almere Diwali Festival, the Indian festival of lights, on the Esplanade in the centre, with Bollywood dance, music and food, and a fireworks show set to music at the end. The 2026 edition was on Saturday 31 October, from 13:00 to 22:00. The festival of lights itself falls on 8 November in 2026.
