Jazztage Dresden tickets: presale, box office and discounts
You can buy Jazztage Dresden tickets online through the buy link at each concert, at all Reservix box offices in Dresden and across Germany, and through the festival office (Jazztage-Büro); at the door a box-office surcharge of €5 applies.
Reduced tickets are for pupils, students (up to age 35), Dresden Pass holders, people doing voluntary military service or the Federal Volunteer Service, and people with a severe disability (from 70 % degree of disability). You need the matching ID, and reduced tickets are limited to a quota.
In the 2026 programme, selected concerts have a family discount: for each paying adult up to 5 children, teenagers and trainees up to 28 years old get in free, with a recommended age of 6 and up. Selected concerts also have a 50 % senior discount from age 65. The festival's ticket page lists which concerts these are.
Bonus concerts from €10 are open to anyone holding tickets at full price for different concerts in a calendar year: from 2 concerts one bonus concert (Silver), from 5 concerts two (Gold), from 7 concerts unlimited ones (Platinum). Bonus concerts can only be booked through the festival office.
Vouchers for the festival are available in values from €25 to €250.

Where do the Jazztage Dresden concerts take place?
The Jazztage Dresden concerts take place at changing venues in and around Dresden, for example at H42 – Dresdner Whisky Manufaktur, Kulturpalast Dresden, Parkhotel Dresden, Ballhaus Watzke, Schloss Albrechtsberg and Theater Meißen.
For every concert the programme page gives the date, time, venue and style of music, plus notes such as “Restkarten” (last tickets), “Abgesagt” (cancelled) or “Änderung” (change) when the line-up has changed. A cancelled concert is marked “Abgesagt” or “Tour abgesagt”.
Check the programme page before you buy: venues change from concert to concert, and some are outside Dresden, for example in Meißen.

Who organises Jazztage Dresden?
Jazztage Dresden is organised by JAZZTAGE DRESDEN gemeinnützige UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a non-profit company based in Dresden and registered at the Amtsgericht Dresden under HRB 30504.
The festival shows jazz in its full breadth: the programme page lists swing, blues, soul, funk, world music, pop and cabaret, among others.
The Freundeskreis Jazztage Dresden e.V. is a recognised non-profit association that raises funds to maintain, promote and expand the festival. Membership costs €90 a year.

Since when has Jazztage Dresden existed?
Jazztage Dresden goes back to the Unkersdorfer Jazztage, which first took place from 20 to 23 September 2001; since 2006 the festival has been held in the state capital as Jazztage Dresden.
Early venues in Dresden included the Schauspielhaus, the airport and the Societaetstheater; the Yenidze, the Rundkino and the Hochschule für Musik came later. Fixtures of the programme were the Funk & Soul Night at the airport and the Swing Band Ball.
