Neujahrsschwimmen 2027
On 1 January the brave start the year in cold water: at a Neujahrsschwimmen or Anbaden in a lake, a river or an outdoor pool. We add the dates as soon as the organisers confirm them.
Before you swim
Cold water can cause a cold shock. Only go in where there are lifeguards or supervision, do not go alone, walk in slowly and warm up straight afterwards. Organisers cancel at short notice in storms or ice: check their page that morning.
