About this workshop
In this workshop Hans Schuttenbeld shares his enthusiasm and his knowledge and skills about calligraphy, the art of beautiful writing.
By writing letters and playing with different ways of writing, you learn how letters look and how their shape and character can change.
The workshop also asks why certain letters appear on the Prinsjesdag suitcase.
Hans Schuttenbeld became fascinated early on by the endless possibilities of making letter shapes.
The workshop takes place at Belasting en Douane Museum, Parklaan 14-16, Rotterdam.
It runs on 7 November, 28 November, 12 December and 19 December 2026, from 12:00 to 15:00.
