Not published; ask the box office
The theatre hall has numbered seats. You choose your own on the online seat map, or the box office does it with you by phone. The hall has an entrance on both sides of the tribune, so you can also pick the side that suits you.
The venue does not publish a best-seat guide, sightline notes or legroom details. The seat map shows where the stage is, so you can see which seats face it: the middle block is the most direct, and seats by the left or right entrance are quickest to reach. If you need a specific sightline, more legroom or a seat with extra space, ask the box office before booking.
The numbers run in an even and an odd series that meet in the middle of a row: six adjacent centre seats are 18, 20, 22, 21, 19 and 17. That is why a group booking can look scattered on the map while you still sit together.
Multifesta, the smaller hall with the bar, is unplaced: there are no seat numbers and you choose a spot when you go in.
- Check the seat map before you choose a price type: it shows where the stage is, so you can pick left or right of the tribune.
- Finish your order in one browser tab; the theatre warns that working in several tabs can break the order.
- Need a wheelchair space or a seat with extra room? Call the box office instead of picking a standard seat.
- For a group, use the even/odd numbering to check that the seats really are next to each other.
What time do shows start at Theater de Kattendans?
Most evening performances start at 20:15, with some at 20:30 or 20:00 and the occasional music or regional evening at 19:30. Afternoon and family shows usually start at 14:00, 14:30 or 16:00, and the Tuesday afternoon film at 13:30.
The theatre does not publish a standard end time; the duration is on each performance page. Children are welcome, especially at the youth and family performances, which state a minimum age. The theatre has seat boosters and a baby-changing place. A large part of the youth theatre is free for children up to and including 12.
Switch off your mobile phone during a performance or event: besides disturbing the audience, phones can interfere with the technical equipment. The theatre does not serve alcohol to anyone under 18 and may ask for ID.

About Theater de Kattendans
Theater de Kattendans is the theatre on the Eerselsedijk in Bergeijk, with a 310-seat theatre hall, a foyer, a dance room and several meeting rooms. It programmes professional and amateur theatre, cabaret, music, dance, film and youth theatre, and is part of Wonka Podia.
The building is more than a theatre: companies and societies hire the rooms for meetings, workshops, presentations and rehearsals, with coffee, tea, pastries or lunch on request and audiovisual equipment for a fee.
Since May 2025 the Bibliotheek Bergeijk has been housed in the building. Part of the library is being renovated, and the theatre warns that not all room information on its site is current.
