About Pand P: the neighbourhood theatre of Stratum
Pand P is a small theatre with a local programme, in a former cinema on the Leenderweg.
Pand P is the neighbourhood theatre of Stratum, at Leenderweg 65 in Eindhoven. It has the Grote Zaal, the Middenzaal and the Kleine Zaal, a café and a makerspace. Its programme runs from theatre and cabaret to dance, music and comedy. Parktheater Eindhoven programmes professional shows; amateur companies from Eindhoven also perform here.
The building opened in 1950 as the Plaza cinema. After the cinema moved to Natlab in 2013, Pand P opened in 2015 as an initiative of Parktheater Eindhoven, Het Nieuwe Theater and HetPaardDatVliegt. A renovation started in autumn 2025, and the renewed Pand P opened at the end of summer 2026.
The former cinema hall is now split into a café and a theatre hall. The building's characteristic lettering was kept, and the terrace is framed by telegraph poles.

The history of Pand P: from the Plaza cinema to a neighbourhood theatre
Pand P's building has been a cinema and theatre site since 1950, in Stratum.
The first stone was laid on 26 August 1950 by Wallys Otten, a member of the City cinema family, and the Plaza Theater opened in December 1950. On the last day of 1990 it continued as Plaza Futura, the first theatre and film house in the Netherlands.
In October 2013 Plaza Futura moved to Natlab on Strijp-S. Pand P opened in 2015 as an initiative of Parktheater Eindhoven, Het Nieuwe Theater and HetPaardDatVliegt. A renovation started in autumn 2025; the renewed Pand P opened at the end of summer 2026. The former cinema hall was split into a café and a theatre hall, the original lettering was kept and the terrace is framed by telegraph poles.
