Seating plan: choosing a seat in the Grote Zaal
You choose a specific seat for Grote Zaal and Spectrum shows; Magazijn and Podiumzaal tickets are unplaced.
The Grote Zaal opened in 2017 with 696 seats in the stalls and a balcony. The online seat map shows the layout, and you pick your seat when you book; the box office can help if you need an accessible place.
The Magazijn (99) and Podiumzaal (about 180) sell unplaced tickets, so arrive early and choose a spot. Both rooms are on the first floor.
- Book wheelchair places by phone on 0413 - 342555; they are not sold online.
- The balcony of the Grote Zaal has no lift.
Eating at De Blauwe Kei: theatre arrangement and nearby restaurants
The theatre arrangement costs € 12,50 from the 2026-2027 season: a reserved table in the Theaterlounge, coffee or tea with a treat, the drink included with your ticket (when the event page says one is included) and a drink with a snack board after the show. It is available for Grote Zaal performances only.
Book the arrangement up to 48 hours before the performance. It is only for Grote Zaal performances and not for youth shows, films or the Nationaal Theaterweekend.
Your ticket includes one drink only when the event page says so; it is served in the interval or after the show if there is no interval.
Nearby, PLANK has a theatre menu for € 37,95 and is one minute from the foyer. Sillyfox on the 4th floor is 3 minutes away and serves a € 45 menu.
- The arrangement is bookable until 48 hours before the show.
- The ticket drink is included only when the event page says so.

Accessibility: wheelchairs, hearing and guide dogs

Getting to De Blauwe Kei: train, bus and bike
The nearest stop is Noordkade, a minute's walk away. The main rail route is via 's-Hertogenbosch: bus 306 stops at Oprit N265, about a 15-minute walk, or Bravoflex covers that last leg for € 2.
From 's-Hertogenbosch station, bus 306 runs direct to the Oprit N265 stop. The bus runs until about midnight, seven days a week, so it also works for the return after an evening show.

Bravoflex also runs late in the evening. Book at least an hour ahead: from the Noordkade stop you can go directly to a stop of your choice up to 25 km for € 5,80 plus € 1 per km, or take the € 2 ride to the Rembrandtlaan bus stop in Veghel.
By bike, the first 24 hours in the Noordkade bike park are free.

About De Blauwe Kei: theatre in a former feed factory
De Blauwe Kei is the theatre of Veghel, in the former CHV feed factory on the Noordkade, with its main hall seating 696.
The theatre has been at home on the Noordkade since 2017. The old silos and factory buildings are still part of the setting, and the entrance is at Verlengde Noordkade 10-12.
The theatre's history starts in the 1960s: the foundation was signed in 1967 and the first stone was laid in 1968. It moved to the Noordkade in 2017 and started programming Spectrum in Schijndel in 2018, so a ticket can be for either building.
The Grote Zaal was newly built in 2017 and seats 696 for cabaret, tribute bands, concerts, dance and theatre. The Magazijn (99) and Podiumzaal (about 180) are smaller, unplaced rooms for intimate cabaret, music and youth shows. The Malerij and Koekbouw host classical mornings and larger concerts.
The name comes from a blue-veined boulder that lay on a Hoofdstraat corner around 1940. The theatre took its name from the stone.
