The Rodi Media hall is the main auditorium, with about 600 seats and space for 900 standing. Cabaret, music and the larger productions play here. Toon is the small hall with 96 seats, so the audience is close to the performance.
Both halls are seated. Check your ticket or the agenda before you go in: if it says Toon, go to the small hall rather than the main auditorium.

Getting to Coolplein 1 by train, bus or on foot
Cool is a 15-minute walk from Heerhugowaard station. Several buses stop within 7 minutes, the closest a minute away.
From Heerhugowaard station, take bus Groen to Cool / Bioscoop Vue (1 minute walk), or bus 409 or Groen to Stadshart (5 minutes). The walk from the station itself is about 15 minutes; the OSM foot router measures 19 minutes for the 1,350 m route.
Trains run every half hour from Amsterdam Centraal, Hoorn and Den Helder.
By car, follow the P signs to P2 Middenweg (5 minutes' walk) or P3 Coolplein (8 minutes).

P2 Middenweg is the venue's first choice: 551 spaces, 5 minutes' walk, €0.20 per 15 minutes and at most €9 a day. P3 Coolplein has an evening rate and is the alternative the venue names for visitors with limited mobility.
P2 Middenweg has 551 spaces and 16 charging points (2 inside, 14 outside). If you stay less than five hours, the third hour is free, and you can pay at the barrier without going to the machine.
P3 Coolplein has 164 spaces. The first 15 minutes are free; after that you pay €0.20 per 12 minutes, up to €9 per 24 hours. An evening card for 17:00-09:00 costs €4 and can be bought at the machine from 17:00. The service desk does not sell exit tickets.
P3 can fill up quickly at performances and events. The venue advises P2 first and names P3 as the alternative for visitors who are less mobile.
