About
What to expect
The performance is based on the story of Telemachus, the son of Odysseus, who stays home while his father is laying siege to a distant city.
Hendrik de Pecker wrote a new text about vulnerable people, those left behind, and the legacy of an absent father.
Alongside this mythical fairy tale, Hendrik searches for his own father.
Ellen Goemans and Joep Hendrikx play parent and child and switch between realism and absurdism.
As part of theatre company Het NUT, the duo takes you along as an accomplice, not as an audience.
Het NUT mixes documentary and fiction and was named best theatre company of the year by NRC in 2024.
