About
A Vienna doctor whose husband leaves her on their anniversary meets an Iranian carpenter in a bar, and their encounter sets something in motion.
Marie Theres (Caroline Peters) is a doctor in Vienna, married to Alexander and mother of teenage daughter Anna. On their wedding anniversary, Alexander tells her he is leaving. She ends up in the Pussycat bar, where she meets Fa (Proschat Madani), a self-confident Iranian carpenter who runs a wood business with her family and cares for her mother. Fa's mother is treated in Marie Theres's hospital department. Fa has not lived fully openly as herself for years, and her mother hopes she will marry a man. The encounter sets something in motion between the two women.
