About

Four Twilight Zone stories: a bigot's time journey, retirees reliving youth, a boy's dream-or-nightmare house and a plane passenger's theory.

Twilight Zone: The Movie is a 1983 anthology based on Rod Serling's TV series. It opens with a driver (Albert Brooks) and a passenger (Dan Aykroyd) on a country road at night, discussing scary Twilight Zone episodes.

In the first story, William "Bill" Connor (Vic Morrow) is bitter after losing a promotion to his Jewish co-worker Goldman. Drinking with friends, he makes racist remarks; a Black man nearby asks him to stop, and Bill storms out. He finds himself in Nazi-occupied France during World War II. Other segments involve retirees who relive their youth, a young teacher who befriends a boy whose house is every child's dream or nightmare, and a plane passenger (John Lithgow as Valentine) who thinks he knows the cause of engine trouble.
