About
A model couple invited to promote a luxury cruise for wealthy guests meet an alcoholic captain and a mixed group of rich passengers.
Ruben Östlund's satirical comedy centres on Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean), a celebrity model couple who work as influencers. They are invited aboard a luxury superyacht to promote the cruise on social media.
The guests include Russian oligarch Dimitry (Zlatko Burić) and a British couple who made their fortune manufacturing grenades and other weapons. The captain (Woody Harrelson) is alcoholic and quotes Marx. Below deck, the crew looks after the engine room and the cleaning. Carl and Yaya argue about money and gender roles.
