About
In autumn 1943, Rosa is forced by the SS to taste Hitler's meals at the Wolf's Lair to ensure they are not poisoned.
Autumn 1943. Rosa Sauer (Elisa Schlott) has left bomb-stricken Berlin while her husband, Gregor, is serving on the Russian front, and is staying with his parents in the village of Gross-Partsch. One morning she is taken by the SS to the Wolf's Lair, the Nazi headquarters. There Rosa joins a group of young women who are forced to taste the meals destined for Hitler before they are served, to check that the food is not poisoned. Silvio Soldini directed the film, with Elisa Schlott as Rosa and Max Riemelt as Ziegler.
