About
Brooklyn plumbers Mario and Luigi are pulled into a magical world, where Mario joins Princess Peach against Bowser to find his separated brother.
In Brooklyn, brothers Mario (voiced by Chris Pratt) and Luigi (voiced by Charlie Day) run a struggling plumbing business. After a major water main leak is reported, they go into the sewer to fix it and are pulled through a Warp Pipe into another world. The pipe separates them: Mario arrives in the Mushroom Kingdom, ruled by Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), while Luigi ends up in the Dark Lands, ruled by the Koopa king Bowser (Jack Black). Bowser wants to marry Peach and threatens the Mushroom Kingdom with a Super Star. Mario meets Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), who takes him to Peach; she plans an alliance with the Kongs and trains Mario before he and Toad set out.
