About
In May 1940, an actress and a soundman meet at the Flagey building in Brussels and fall in love as war approaches.
The film is set in May 1940, as war in Western Europe comes closer. Elza (Femke Vanhove), a young actress taking part in radio plays for the first time, meets Berre (Jef Hellemans), a beginning soundman with an exceptional ear, in the Flagey building in Elsene, in the Brussels-Capital Region, from where the Belgian radio broadcasts. Elza is captivated by the world of radio plays; Berre finds support in sound. Their encounter sparks a love that develops against the threat of their time.
