About
Twelve-year-old Karli discovers that an old hotel elevator takes him to a secret floor in 1938, where he meets Hanna and Georg.
Twelve-year-old Karli (Silas John) moves with his family to the Alps, where his parents (Oliver Rosskopf and Marie Jung) have bought an old grand hotel and want to run it themselves. The renovation takes up the whole summer holidays. While exploring the building, Karli gets an old lift to stop at a strange floor between floors. There the hotel is busy and full of life, but the year is 1938.
On this secret floor Karli meets Hanna (Annika Benzin), a Jewish girl staying at the hotel, and Georg (Maximilian Reinwald), a shoeshine boy.
