About

A boy who doubts Santa Claus boards a magical train to the North Pole on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Eve in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a young boy is lying in bed and beginning to doubt that Santa Claus exists. A magical train called the Polar Express stops outside his house, and its Conductor invites him aboard. The boy steps onto the train and finds other children in their pajamas. Among the passengers are a spirited girl and a know-it-all boy. Tom Hanks plays the Conductor and several other roles, Daryl Sabara voices the boy, Nona Gaye voices the girl, Eddie Deezen plays Know-It-All, and Peter Scolari voices Billy, a lonely boy the train picks up. The Polar Express sets off for the North Pole.
