About
A thirteen-year-old boy grows up with his father and uncles in 1980s Flanders, while his adult self faces fatherhood.
In the 1980s, thirteen-year-old Gunther Strobbe (Kenneth Vanbaeden) lives in the fictional Flemish village of Reetveerdegem with his father Celle (Koen De Graeve), his uncles Petrol (Wouter Hendrickx), Breeje (Johan Heldenbergh) and Koen (Bert Haelvoet), and his grandmother Meetje (Gilda De Bal). Celle has a part-time job as a postman, while his brothers pass their days drinking beer, eating sausage, causing damage, playing pranks and chasing women.
In the present, the adult Gunther (Valentijn Dhaenens) works as a writer. When his girlfriend becomes pregnant with a son, he feels uneasy about fatherhood and turns to his father and uncles for advice.
