About
A retired judge in Milan takes in an old friend from Senegal, and when his pregnant wife arrives, their temporary arrangement becomes a shared household.
Mietta, a retired judge in Milan, welcomes her longtime friend Ibu, who is originally from Senegal, into her home. The two met about twenty years earlier on Sardinia. Later, Ibu’s pregnant wife Bousso joins them. What begins as temporary hospitality grows into a long-term situation, and Mietta buys a larger apartment for them all. The household that takes shape around Mietta, Ibu and Bousso in Milan is unusual and complex, with Mietta, Ibu and Bousso sharing a home after the original invitation expands.
