About
A former soldier turned tour guide and an actress lead women from a prison theatre workshop to an ancient Bosnian pine.
In the mountains of the Pollino massif, a tour guide and former soldier Biagio (Rocco Papaleo) sets out with his young, inexperienced nephew Luciano (Andrea Fuorto) and the eccentric actress Raffaella (Vanessa Scalera). Raffaella leads a theatre workshop in a women's prison and brings along participants from her course who have only a short part of their sentence left to serve. The demanding hike toward an ancient Bosnian pine is meant as a motivation trip toward freedom. But each member of the group is wrestling with personal problems, and tensions soon arise among them.
