About
In the Italian Alps in 1984, eleven-year-old Pietro meets Bruno, the last child in a mountain village, and the two become friends.
In the summer of 1984, Pietro Guasti, an eleven-year-old from Turin, and his mother Francesca rent a house in Grana, a village in the Italian Alps. There Pietro meets Bruno Guglielmina, the last child remaining in the village, who lives with his aunt and uncles and is estranged from his parents. Pietro and Bruno become friends and spend the summer together. Pietro is played by Luca Marinelli, with Lupo Barbiero as the child Pietro; Bruno by Alessandro Borghi, with Cristiano Sassella as the child Bruno. Elena Lietti plays Francesca Guasti.
