About

In Bremen, widower Ali moves prostitute Yeter into his home, while his son Nejat becomes entangled with her daughter Ayten and her friend Lotte.

In Bremen, the widower Ali Aksu (Tuncel Kurtiz) lives with his son Nejat (Baki Davrak), a professor of German literature. Ali feels lonely and visits the red-light district, where he meets the Turkish prostitute Yeter Öztürk (Nursel Köse). He offers to pay her monthly to stop working and move in with him; after threats from Turkish men, she accepts. Nejat has difficulty with his father's arrangement until he learns that Yeter sends money to her daughter Ayten in Turkey and tells her she works as a shoe saleswoman.

Ayten Öztürk (Nurgül Yeşilçay) is a political activist who has fled to Germany and stays with her friend Charlotte "Lotte" Staub (Patrycia Ziółkowska).
