About
In the mountain villages of Epirus, a stingy man named Lykourgos is visited by three uninvited spirits on Christmas Eve.
The Christmas Carols is a Greek adaptation of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol for the whole family. Set in the mountain villages of Epirus in northern Greece, the story follows Lykourgos Vardis, played by Loris Loizides, and his family.
On Christmas Eve, the stingy Lykourgos is visited by three uninvited spirits. Among them are the Spirit of the Past, played by Youlika Skafida, and the Spirit of the Present, played by Orestis Chalkias. Giannis Bezos appears as Sofianos. The spirits accompany Lykourgos on a journey of self-knowledge and change. The story centres on forgiveness, solidarity and second chances.
