Pathé Unlimited: tiers, price, deals and how to cancel (2026)
Pathé's Club Pathé subscriptions cost €9.95 (Explorer, one visit a month), €23 (Unlimited), €32 (Unlimited Gold) and €32 (Family, you and one child under 12). The minimum is 4 calendar months, then one month's notice.
- Unlimited pays for itself from 2 films a month at €13.00 a ticket. Gold only beats Unlimited if you often go to IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX or ScreenX.

Is Pathé Unlimited worth it?
At €13.00 for a regular evening ticket at Pathé Arena, €23 is 1.77 tickets, so against paying per ticket you save from 2 films a month. Against Explorer plus one extra ticket (€22.95) Unlimited only wins from 3: at 2 films the two are about equal. At 3 films it is €7.67 a ticket, and a plus-one for €19 brings two people to €21.00 each at one film a month. Against the national average ticket of €10.82 you need 3.
Which Pathé subscription should I choose?
Explorer (€9.95) is for one film a month; every extra visit is a normal ticket. Unlimited (€23) pays off from 2 visits a month. Gold (€32) costs €9 more than Unlimited, so you break even after 3 IMAX, Dolby Cinema or ScreenX films a month, or 2 4DX or IMAX 3D films. Family (€32) is Unlimited for you and one child under 12.
Gold also gives 25% instead of 10% off Drinks & Bites. An older Pathé help article mentions a free ticket on each anniversary; the current subscription page does not list it, so do not count on it.
Is Pathé Unlimited really unlimited?
For regular 2D screenings yes: the terms set no daily cap. The practical limits are one ticket per screening, no two bookings with start times within 90 minutes, and at most 8 reserved tickets at a time (not on Explorer). 3D, IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX and ScreenX carry a surcharge on Unlimited; Pathé's help pages say Specials & Events and special rooms can too.

How do I cancel or pause Pathé Unlimited?
The minimum is 4 calendar months, counted from the 1st of the month after you sign up; the first payment is pro rata. After that you cancel at any time with one month's notice: cancel on 12 June and it ends on 12 July. You can only cancel online in "Mijn Club Pathé". You have 14 days to withdraw, with a full refund if unused.
You can pause for one month per calendar year, but only after the first 4 months. Ask up to a month ahead and withdraw the request until the 17th. You still get an invoice for the paused month, credited the next month. An upgrade is immediate and a downgrade starts next month if you ask by the 19th; you cannot drop to Explorer in the first 4 months.

How does Pathé Unlimited +1 work?
For €19 a month extra you can take one other person, a different one each time, but you have to be there yourself. Explorer's plus-one is €8.95 and Gold's €26; on Family an extra adult is €19 and an extra child €7.95.
Can someone else use my Pathé Unlimited?
No. The subscription is personal and sharing is not allowed. Only the paid plus-one lets one other person join you.
Can I watch Pathé Thuis with Pathé Unlimited?
Every tier includes a monthly code for up to 50% off 4 Pathé Thuis rentals of up to €5.99. Purchases and premium titles are excluded and the code is only valid in that calendar month.
Can I pause Pathé Unlimited?
Yes, one month per calendar year after the first 4 months.
How do I stop my Pathé subscription?
Online in "Mijn Club Pathé", after the 4-month minimum, with one month's notice.
Who can take out a subscription?
Anyone 18 or older, or younger with a parent's consent. The pass is digital and personal.
How many tickets can I reserve?
One ticket per screening, and no two reservations with start times within 90 minutes of each other. Except on Explorer you can hold at most 8 reserved tickets. Pathé can lower that for some films and can switch off reserving if you often leave reservations unused.
What if a Pathé cinema is closed?
Pathé may close or restrict a cinema up to 14 days a year; the pass is then not valid there and you get no refund.
Can I give Pathé Unlimited as a gift?
