Sorcerer is a 1977 American action thriller directed by William Friedkin. It follows four men from different countries who have fled to a remote South American village to hide from their pasts. The cast includes Roy Scheider as Scanlon, Bruno Cremer as Victor Manzon, Francisco Rabal as Nilo and Amidou as Kassem. When a fire breaks out at a distant oil well, the men are offered a chance to earn enough money to leave their impoverished existence. They agree to transport two truckloads of unstable explosives through the jungle.
