About
A Kingston drummer starts selling reggae records from a borrowed motorcycle, meets a resort owner's daughter, and has the bike stolen.
Horsemouth (Leroy Wallace) is a drummer in a ghetto in Kingston, Jamaica. He wants to earn extra income by selling reggae records. With borrowed money he buys a small orange-red 175 motorcycle, so he can bring records to shops, clubs, sound systems and parties across the island. His friend Jah Wise decorates the fuel tank with a Lion of Judah. Horsemouth collects stock from the record businesses of Jack Ruby and Joe Gibbs.
After making some sales, he visits singer Jacob Miller at Channel One Studios and is asked to drum with Miller and members of Inner Circle at a tourist resort. At the resort, where he goes to sign for the work, he meets Sunshine (Marjorie Norman), the owner's daughter. That night his motorcycle is taken.
