About
Three young Afghan refugees spend a hot summer day by a Swiss river as a new law threatens their stay.
On a hot summer day, three young Afghan refugees cool off in the clear water of a river in southern Switzerland. On the bank they meet peers from the area and share simple moments of everyday life. Still, there is uncertainty: an announced change in Swiss law means that single, healthy Afghan men over eighteen could be deported. As the day goes on, memories of their journeys come up. The three talk about their difficult trips through dark woods and packed boats, and about the Taliban violence they fled.
