About

Monsieur Hulot gets lost in a modern, gadget-filled Paris while a young American tourist visits the city with her tour group.

Jacques Tati plays Monsieur Hulot, a befuddled Frenchman in a modern Paris of glass high-rises and gadget-filled offices. An American tour group arrives at Orly Airport. Hulot goes to an office building for a meeting with a business contact but gets lost in a maze of rooms and offices, and ends up at a trade exhibition of office designs and furniture. Barbara Dennek plays Barbara, a young American tourist visiting with the group. She and Hulot repeatedly encounter one another over the course of a day.
