About
A poor Seoul family schemes to get jobs with the wealthy Parks by hiding their identities.
Kim Ki-taek (Song Kang-ho), his wife Chung-sook (Jang Hye-jin), their son Ki-woo (Choi Woo-shik) and daughter Ki-jung (Park So-dam) live in a semi-basement flat in Seoul with little money and only irregular work. A friend of Ki-woo, Min-hyuk, gives the family a scholar's rock and suggests that Ki-woo step in for him as Da-hye's English tutor; Da-hye is the daughter of the wealthy Parks. Ki-jung makes a false certificate for her brother. Posing as a Yonsei University student called Kevin, Ki-woo visits the Parks' home. The Parks are headed by Park Dong-ik (Lee Sun-kyun) and his wife Yeon-kyo (Cho Yeo-jeong), and Yeon-kyo hires him. The Kims then set out to find jobs in the Park household for each family member while hiding who they really are.
