The 1987 Australian fantasy comedy horror Pandemonium starts from the Azaria Chamberlain case: in this version, dingos rescue and raise her instead of killing her. She later travels to Sydney, changed into a new messiah for a new age. The film is made in the style of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The cast includes David Argue as Kales Leadingham and Ding the Dingo, Amanda Dole as The Dingo Girl, Esben Storm as E.B. DeWoolf, Arna-Maria Winchester as P.B. DeWoolf and Lex Marinos as Detective Sergeant Dick Dickerson.
