About

An art curator returns to Bulgaria after thirty years to assess the work of a viral eight-year-old painting prodigy and confronts his past.

Mihail, played by Galin Stoev, is a Bulgarian immigrant to Canada who works as an art curator. A viral video of an eight-year-old Bulgarian girl who is regarded as a painting prodigy draws the attention of a collector, played by Christian Bégin, who wants to acquire her work. He sends Mihail from Quebec to Bulgaria to look at the paintings and to determine whether the girl is a fraud or a genius.

For Mihail it is the first time in thirty years that he returns to his home country. There he also has to face the ghosts of his past.
