About
In 1958 Paraguay, a charismatic former farmer returns from Buenos Aires with rock ’n’ roll and becomes a radio sensation under a military regime.
In Asunción in 1958, Narciso, played by Diro Romero, returns from Buenos Aires to his home country of Paraguay. The former farmer has brought rock ’n’ roll with him, music he came to know in Argentina, and introduces the people around him to it. A good dancer, he awakens desire in both women and men. He starts working in radio and, with his own rock-’n’-roll programme on Radio Capital, becomes a local celebrity. Paraguay is under a military dictatorship, where fear and repression shape daily life. The cast also includes Manuel Cuenca as Lulu, Margarita Irún as Goya, Arturo Fleitas as Dracula, Nahuel Pérez Biscayart as Mr. Wesson and Mona Martínez as Nenucha.
