About
After learning her fiancé has been unfaithful, pop superstar Kat Valdez spontaneously marries a math teacher from the audience at her concert.
Pop superstar Kat Valdez (Jennifer Lopez) and Bastian (Maluma) are a celebrity couple whose chart-topping single Marry Me is to be followed by a wedding ceremony streamed live from one of Kat's concerts. Divorced math teacher Charlie Gilbert (Owen Wilson) reluctantly joins his daughter Lou (Chloe Coleman) and his friend Parker Debbs (Sarah Silverman) at the show. Just before the ceremony, Kat learns that Bastian has been unfaithful. On stage, she sees Charlie in the crowd holding a Marry Me sign, and spontaneously chooses him instead. Charlie, who is not a fan of Kat and has little use for social media, agrees, and is suddenly confronted with a world entirely unlike his own.
