About

A clumsy panda is chosen as Dragon Warrior while a snow leopard threatens the Valley of Peace.

In the Valley of Peace in Ancient China, Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) hears from his mentor, Master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim), that the snow leopard Tai Lung (Ian McShane) will escape and try to take the Dragon Scroll, which is said to grant limitless power. Shifu announces a tournament to choose a Dragon Warrior from his students, the Furious Five: Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Crane (David Cross), Viper (Lucy Liu), Mantis (Seth Rogen) and Monkey. Po (Jack Black), a giant panda who works in his goose father's noodle restaurant but dreams of becoming a kung fu master, goes to the Jade Palace for the event. He is chosen as the Dragon Warrior, though others doubt him, and comes under Shifu's reluctant guidance.
