About
In 1938 Munich, restaurant owner Richard Schwarz and charming swindler Edgar Enders open a Jewish cooking school that draws Nazi guests.
Munich, 1938. When the legendary Jewish restaurant Schwarz is destroyed by the Nazis, restaurant owner Richard Schwarz (Andreas Giebel) and charming swindler Edgar Enders (Florian David Fitz) devise a plan: they open a cooking school for Jews, supposedly to improve their chances abroad. Half of Munich's Nazi elite wants to eat there, and the Gauleiterin (Sunnyi Melles) dreams of a career as a star cook. A mathematician turns Edgar's head, while the well-meant deception grows into increasingly dangerous chaos. Petra Berndt plays Elisabeth Schwarz, Hannah Herzsprung plays Antonia Goldberg, Josef Bierbichler plays Richard, Sabin Tambrea plays Lothar and Gregor Bloéb plays Heinrich Lorenz.
