About
An archaeologist working on a bog body is confronted with her mother's death and a new assistant who seems to know more about her past.
Ursula Scheuer (Corinna Harfouch) is an archaeologist and professor at an institute for archaeology and ethnology. Because the institute's building is being renovated, teaching and research can only take place on a limited scale. Ursula is secretly working on a bog body she discovered, hoping to raise the institute's profile. Two days after her mother (Hildegard Schmahl) died in a care home, a self-assured young woman sits down at her desk and introduces herself as her new assistant Melanie, called Mel (Carla Juri). Ursula introduces her to the work because she needs help cleaning the female mummy, around which many puzzles still revolve. Mel hints that she knows a great deal about Ursula's life.
