About
In 2030, retired actress Mrs. Winkler, needing care after an accident, gets a robot carer whose knowledge of classical plays reawakens her will to live.
In 2030, retired actress Mrs. Winkler lives withdrawn and alone. Her daughter Emi accepts a theatre engagement, while Mrs. Winkler, after an accident, needs intensive help. Because there is not enough money for a care home or home care, a care robot takes over her care. Mrs. Winkler is initially sceptical. She names the robot Pawlowitsch after he recites Anton Chekhov, which delights her and awakens new interest and a will to live. Angela Winkler plays Mrs. Winkler, Laura Tonke plays Emi and Josef Ellers plays Pawlowitsch.
