About
During the 1985 European Cup final in Brussels, a mayor's daughter and an Italian journalist are caught in the Heysel Stadium disaster.
On 29 May 1985, the Heysel Stadium in Brussels is the setting for the European Cup final between Liverpool and Juventus. The film is set around the disaster that took place that day, in which 39 supporters died. Marie (Violet Braeckman) is the daughter of the Brussels mayor and works as press officer; she is responsible for making sure the evening goes smoothly. Luca Rossi (Matteo Simoni), an Italian journalist, is there to report on the match. When old rivalry between supporters gets out of hand, both become caught up in events that no one can control.
