About
In a forgetful village, a girl, carpenter Snekker Andersen and Julenissen try to bring back Christmas before it is too late.
On 24 December, little Elise (Miriam Kolstad Strand) wakes with the feeling that the day is special, but she cannot remember why. Her father (Christian Skolmen) and the other villagers cannot help: in the place Elise comes from, people are very forgetful. In the attic she finds a dusty wooden box with 24 painted little doors and the words Merry Christmas. She takes it to the carpenter who made it, Snekker Andersen (Trond Espen Seim). He sees at once what is wrong: the whole village has forgotten Christmas. Andersen knows one person who can help, a man with a white beard and a red coat named Julenissen (Anders Baasmo Christiansen), though Elise has never heard of him. The three have little time to bring the village's memories of Christmas back.
