About
After years in Europe, Elsa returns to Costa Rica and finds her sister withdrawn and her parents absorbed in their own lives.
Elsa (Daniela Marín Navarro) has spent several years in Europe. She comes back to her hometown of San José in Costa Rica, where her younger sister Amalia (Mariangel Villegas) is living by herself in the family house. Amalia has grown more withdrawn and distant. Their parents are occupied with their own concerns: their father moves from one affair to the next, while their mother Isabel (Marina de Tavira) is busy reissuing the erotic poems she wrote when young. Neither of them seems to see how serious the situation is. Elsa's arrival leads the three women to examine what still links them.
