About

A 67-year-old Kyiv woman fights property developers trying to take her garden oasis, and her resistance grows when the country is invaded.

In Kyiv, Natalia, a strong and independent 67-year-old woman, lives on a small plot of land that forms a garden oasis amid an apartment complex. In this Ukrainian documentary by Adelina Borets, property developers try to force her off the land, but she resists with humour and refuses to be defeated. The film follows her fight against attempts to take over her piece of land.

When the country is subsequently invaded, her struggle becomes more existential and intense than before, and her rebellious fight grows stronger in spirit.
